We are Return Fundraising, one of the UK's most prestigious telephone fundraising agencies, working with household charities like Macmillan Cancer Support, British Red Cross and many others. Return Fundraising is looking for a Fundraising Supervisor to support in the management of day-to-day operations of a team of remote fundraising staff. You will need to be experienced in telephone fundraising or outbound sales management, be technically savvy, and possess strong organisational and leadership skills. You will work closely with the Fundraising Manager to oversee the team on a day-to-day basis, offering technical support, inspiration and coaching to a team of between 15 and 20 live Fundraisers each day.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervision of a team of up to 20 remote fundraisers
- First point of contact for technical support
- Quality assessment and call listening
- Coaching and feeding back to fundraising staff to ensure staff development, high performance, and great results for our charity clients
- Writing reports on day-to-day performance and coaching actions
- Maintain standards of performance and quality in the team
- Detailed knowledge of fundraising campaigns, and briefing fundraisers to new campaigns as necessary
- Analysis of live calling data in order to successfully manage priorities for coaching and support
- Attending client training sessions, making detailed notes which relate to ongoing internal training, and proactively asking relevant questions where necessary
- Work closely with your line manager to support their work and provide reporting as required
- Other duties as assigned by your line manager
Essential What We’d Like from You:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a call centre environment
- Technical proficiency and comfortable using a selection of software packages
- Target Based Performance Management experience
- Clear and efficient communicator
- Exceptional team-player
- Ability to be flexible; respond positively to change
- Organisational Skills

- Confidence with public speaking
Desirable:
- Experience of Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Experience of reading dialler reports and using dialler data to make operational decisions
- Advanced understanding of fundraising and/or marketing
- An understanding of relevant regulation and legislation in telephone fundraising
