About the role

We’re looking for a commercially driven New Homes Associate to join our team. This is a hands-on, client-facing role focused on delivering new build sales across a portfolio of developments. You will take ownership of sales delivery on key projects, working closely with developers and internal teams to maximise results. The role requires a strong balance of commercial sales expertise and analytical thinking - using data and market insight to shape marketing activity, refine pricing, and optimise conversion. You will provide day-to-day direction and support to a small specialist team, helping ensure consistent performance, strong collaboration and high standards of delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Sales Delivery & Client Management
    • Lead the sales performance across allocated developments, from launch through to completion
    • Build strong, credible relationships with developers and professional partners
    • Drive high levels of customer service and client satisfaction
    • Proactively manage enquiries and progress sales from reservation to completion
    • Maximise conversion rates and optimise use of developer incentives
    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of developments, buyers and local markets
  • Commercial & Analytical Input
    • Assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and promotional activity
    • Use data and insight to recommend pricing, positioning and sales strategy adjustments
    • Monitor performance against targets and identify opportunities to improve outcomes
    • Provide clear, confident reporting to clients on sales performance and market feedback
  • Team Leadership & Support
    • Provide day-to-day direction, coordination and support to the New Homes sales team
    • Act as a central point of contact for the team, helping maintain consistency, communication and standards
    • Share knowledge, best practice and market insight to support overall team performance
    • Monitor and manage team KPIs and sales activity metrics, providing regular performance updates to management
    • Support onboarding and induction activity where required
    • Work closely with the Director and wider leadership team on any people-related matters
    • Foster a positive, accountable team culture aligned with Rettie values
  • Operational & Cross-Team Contribution
    • Work closely with marketing to ensure campaigns are well executed and commercially effective
    • Contribute to onboarding new developments and preparing launches
    • Support pricing discussions and client proposals
    • Ensure all administration, compliance and reporting is completed accurately and on time
    • Actively promote cross-selling opportunities across the wider business
  • People & Culture
    • Role model a positive, professional and collaborative approach
    • Contribute to a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and high performance
    • Share feedback and observations with senior leadership to support individual development

Key requirements

  • Proven track record in a sales-driven environment, ideally within New Homes
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to interpret data and adapt strategy
  • Confident communicator with excellent relationship management skills
  • Experienced in negotiation and closing transactions
  • Knowledge of New Homes processes, incentives and compliance requirements
  • High level of organisation and attention to detail
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Full, clean driving licence
