Job Purpose – The Office Administrator ensures the smooth and efficient running of the office by managing administrative functions, coordinating internal processes, and supporting staff. This role is responsible for maintaining a productive, well-organized, and positive working environment. As the Office Administrator you will set the standard for timekeeping, attire and work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily office operations and ensure efficiency across departments.
  • Assist multiple departments with data entry and document creation; experience with MS Word is essential.
  • Liaise with Head office on the purchasing of supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain and improve office policies, including dress code and timekeeping.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for vendors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Manage facilities, including office maintenance, safety compliance, and workspace allocation.
  • Coordinate meetings, book and set up meeting rooms.
  • Ensure effective communication between departments and senior management.
  • Monitor and implement health and safety policies within the office.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience as an Office Administrator, Administrative Manager, or similar role.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with MS office software, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of HR and Health & Safety procedures.
