Experienced Beauty Retouching Artist
Avenue is a retouching agency catering to cosmetics brands and commercial photographers in the beauty industry. We are hand-picking a small selection of highly skilled freelance beauty retouchers and are looking for an exceptionally talented retoucher to join our Freelance Talent Pool. You should have a minimum of 2 years professional retouching experience with significant experience across commercial and editorial beauty. You must be used to a fast-paced, high-volume workflow and willing to go the extra mile when deadlines demand.
- 2+ years beauty retouching experience in a professional capacity;
- Impeccable skin retouching skills and strong sense of lighting, reflections, textures and human anatomy;
- Strong communication skills & desire to grow professionally;
- Strong understanding of color and skilled in color matching;
- Ability to follow directions and a willingness to reach out if something is unclear;
- Ability to adjust to specific retouching styles;
- Ability to work full-time during large projects;
- Ability to manage assignments in multiple concurrent projects;
- Access to a reliable internet connection for large file transfers;
- Expertise in closeup beauty and hair retouching is a plus;
- Experience working across global campaigns in digital and print is a plus.
