We're looking for a commercially minded Capital Reporting Management Accountant to join our Finance team here at Retirement Villages Group.
Reporting to the Senior Group Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in managing the financial accounting, reporting and analysis of our capital spend and development activity.
Working closely with our Development and Finance teams, you'll provide insight that supports decision-making across our growing portfolio of retirement villages.
This is a great opportunity for a part-qualified accountant who enjoys getting into the detail, improving processes and building strong relationships across a business.
What you'll be doing
- Own and maintain the Group Fixed Asset Register, covering property assets as well as furniture, fixtures, equipment and plant & machinery.
- Calculate and post monthly depreciation, ensuring the Fixed Asset Register reconciles accurately to the finance system.
- Prepare capital reporting for monthly management accounts, including analysis of new home profitability.
- Monitor and report on spend across development projects, including budgets and cash flow forecasts.
