As Estates Supervisor, you will manage a team of estates operatives while actively delivering hands‑on maintenance and grounds work. Your mission: ensure all buildings, fixtures, equipment, and outdoor spaces are attractive, safe, and enjoyable for residents, customers, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise and oversee estates operations, including maintenance schedules, grounds upkeep, and equipment management.
- Deliver hands‑on support for general and specialist maintenance tasks.
- Test and maintain alarm systems; escalate specialist faults promptly.
- Collaborate with wider estates and facilities teams to ensure repairs are carried out efficiently, in‑house or via third‑party suppliers.
- Maintain landscaping and irrigation systems; ensure paths, roads, and public areas are safe and accessible year‑round.
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including COSHH procedures, and respond appropriately to emergencies.
