Join us at our brand-new retirement village in West Byfleet as an Estates Supervisor, where you’ll lead a team and personally contribute to keeping our village facilities and grounds in top condition for our residents. As Estates Supervisor, you will manage a team of estates operatives while actively delivering hands-on maintenance and grounds work. Your mission: ensure all buildings, fixtures, equipment, and outdoor spaces are attractive, safe, and enjoyable for residents, customers, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise and oversee estates operations, including maintenance schedules, grounds upkeep, and equipment management.
- Deliver hands-on support for general and specialist maintenance tasks.
- Test and maintain alarm systems; elevate specialist faults promptly.
- Collaborate with wider estates and facilities teams to ensure repairs are carried out efficiently, in-house or via third-party suppliers.
- Maintain landscaping and irrigation systems; ensure paths, roads, and public areas are safe and accessible year-round.
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including COSHH procedures, and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Supervise, coach, and develop team members, ensuring high standards and adherence to regulations.
- Maintain external accreditations and keep up-to-date with industry best practices.
