Experience the beauty of nature while making a difference in our residents' lives at Mayford Grange Retirement Village. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Gardener to join our team on a part-time basis to help create and maintain our stunning landscape. This role is working 22 hours per week.
As a Gardener at Mayford Grange you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by creating beautiful outdoor spaces that they can enjoy and relax in.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the planting and maintenance of flowers, plants, and trees
- Performing regular watering, pruning, and weeding to keep the gardens tidy and vibrant
- Maintaining lawns, hedges, and other green areas
- Operating and maintaining gardening equipment and tools
- Assisting in the implementation of landscaping projects
- Collaborating with the team to ensure the gardens meet the expectations and preferences of our residents
- Following health and safety guidelines to create a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors
- Helping the GM/FM with other tasks in and around the Village outside the garden environment when necessary
