We are looking for a friendly, organised, and proactive Hospitality & Administration Assistant to join our team on Sundays. This is a varied role that blends front-of-house hospitality with essential administrative support. You\’ll be the welcoming face of our village, ensuring residents and visitors feel valued, while also keeping our operations running smoothly and safely.

You will be:

  • A natural people-person who thrives in customer-facing roles
  • Organised, reliable, and able to work independently
  • Calm under pressure, with excellent communication skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a professional, warm reception service for residents, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Deliver food, beverage, and retail services to a high standard, ensuring every experience is positive and memorable.
  • Manage telephone calls, visitor access, and booking systems for guest suites, event spaces, and meeting rooms.
  • Respond promptly and confidently to fire alarms and first aid situations (training provided).
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment across hospitality and reception areas.
  • Support payroll preparation and general administration tasks for the Village Manager and wider team.

Must-Have Skills & Requirements

  • Previous experience in both waiting (hospitality service) and reception roles.
  • Ability to drive (due to location and potential duties).
  • Confident and comfortable attending to fire alarms and first aid situations (training provided).

  • First Aid trained
