Join us at our stunning new retirement village in West Byfleet, where we're building more than just a kitchen - we're creating a vibrant community. This is a part-time role - 16 hours per week.

We're looking for a talented Chef de Partie to support our culinary team in delivering fresh, nutritious, and beautifully presented food in an open kitchen environment. This role offers a chance to showcase your skills, connect with residents and guests, and be part of a team that truly values quality, care, and creativity.

As Chef de Partie, you'll play a key role in:

  • Preparing and presenting dishes to a high standard
  • Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily operations
  • Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and allergen controls
  • Ensuring efficient section management and prep
  • Interacting professionally with residents and guests in our open kitchen

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 3 years' experience in a professional kitchen
  • Holds Food Safety Level 2 (essential)
  • Has strong knowledge of HACCP and COSHH standards
  • Is confident working independently and as part of a team
  • Takes pride in their work and enjoys creating a warm, engaging atmosphere for diners
