School Nurse (LPN) – 1:1 Special Needs Support

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire
Position Type: Full-Time (Full School Year)

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 1:1 school-based position supporting a student with special needs in Nashua, NH. This is a full-time position aligned with the school calendar and is available immediately through the end of the academic year (mid-June).

The LPN will provide direct care throughout the school day, including riding the school bus with the student to and from school, ensuring safety and continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one medical support to a student with special needs
  • Monitor and manage the student’s health condition as directed by their care plan
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment on the school bus and during the school day

Qualifications:

  • Current LPN license in the state of New Hampshire
  • Pediatric or school nursing experience preferred
  • Experience working with children with special needs is highly desirable
  • CPR/First Aid certification (required)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Schedule:

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday
  • Follows the school district calendar
  • Includes daily transportation on the school bus with the student
