School Nurse (LPN) – 1:1 Special Needs Support

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 1:1 school-based position supporting a student with special needs in Nashua, NH. This is a full-time position aligned with the school calendar and is available immediately through the end of the academic year (mid-June).
The LPN will provide direct care throughout the school day, including riding the school bus with the student to and from school, ensuring safety and continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one medical support to a student with special needs
- Monitor and manage the student’s health condition as directed by their care plan
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment on the school bus and during the school day
Qualifications:
- Current LPN license in the state of New Hampshire
- Pediatric or school nursing experience preferred
- Experience working with children with special needs is highly desirable
- CPR/First Aid certification (required)
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday
- Follows the school district calendar
- Includes daily transportation on the school bus with the student
