Are you looking to start a career in events, exhibitions or admin? This entry-level role is a great opportunity to learn and grow in a busy, global events team. We’re looking for someone to help our team book venues and work with suppliers for events around the world. You’ll help find and book event spaces, keep track of important details, support with admin tasks, and help us build good relationships with hotels and other suppliers.
You don’t need to have lots of experience — just a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and good organisation and communication skills. Candidates should have some basic understanding of how to help choose and manage suppliers, be open to learning about the events industry, and show they can grow strong communication and negotiation skills. They should also be able to handle different admin tasks that come with the role.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Help research and find the best places to host events.
- Speak to venues and help book them at good prices.
- Keep track of costs, contracts, and venue details.
- Help the team plan event layouts and check venues are the right fit.
- Visit venues and attend industry events when needed.
- Keep records updated and organised.
- Support the team with general admin and event planning tasks.
Working with Suppliers:
- Help collect feedback on suppliers after each event.
- Track supplier costs, payments, and other data.
- Set up regular check-ins with suppliers.
- Support with staff travel bookings and expenses.
- Keep travel systems up to date.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Someone interested in events and delivering great customer service.
- You don’t need direct experience, just the drive to learn.
- Previous experience in venue sourcing, event agencies or hotels is a plus!
- Friendly and professional on email and phone.
- Organised and able to handle different tasks at once.
- Happy to work in a team and on your own when needed.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (like Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Bonus if you know another language or have basic knowledge of budgets.
