Sales Account Executive | Exhibitions & Live Events (Entry Level)

We’re looking for a Sales Account Executive to join a fast-paced, high-performing sales team working across leading live exhibitions and events within the retail space.

This is an entry-level role and a great opportunity for someone at the early stage of their sales career who is ambitious, commercially curious, and eager to learn within a supportive but target-driven environment.

The Opportunity

You’ll work closely with experienced sales professionals, supporting the growth of established events while learning how to manage clients, develop new business, and deliver against sales targets.

You’ll gain exposure to live events, exhibitions, and B2B sales, with clear progression opportunities for high performers.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the sales team in achieving individual and team revenue targets
• Conduct outbound sales calls to existing, lapsed, and prospective clients
• Build and manage a sales pipeline using a CRM system
• Identify new business opportunities and untapped sectors
• Manage inbound leads and follow up effectively
• Build strong relationships with clients and prospects
• Attend sales meetings and contribute ideas and insights
• Work closely with internal teams to maximise sales opportunities
• Develop product, market, and competitor knowledge

About You

• Some experience or strong interest in sales, events, media, or retail
• Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills
• Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
• Comfortable working to targets in a fast-paced environment
• Resilient, organised, and commercially curious
• A team player with a positive attitude
• Willing to travel occasionally for events
