Sales Account Executive | Exhibitions & Live Events (Entry Level)

Weโ€™re looking for a Sales Account Executive to join a fast-paced, high-performing sales team working across leading live exhibitions and events within the retail space.

This is an entry-level role and a great opportunity for someone at the early stage of their sales career who is ambitious, commercially curious, and eager to learn within a supportive but target-driven environment.

The Opportunity

Youโ€™ll work closely with experienced sales professionals, supporting the growth of established events while learning how to manage clients, develop new business, and deliver against sales targets.

Youโ€™ll gain exposure to live events, exhibitions, and B2B sales, with clear progression opportunities for high performers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team in achieving individual and team revenue targets
  • Conduct outbound sales calls to existing, lapsed, and prospective clients
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline using a CRM system
  • Identify new business opportunities and untapped sectors
  • Manage inbound leads and follow up effectively
  • Build strong relationships with clients and prospects
  • Attend sales meetings and contribute ideas and insights
  • Work closely with internal teams to maximise sales opportunities
  • Develop product, market, and competitor knowledge

About You

  • Some experience or strong interest in sales, events, media, or retail
  • Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills
  • Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
  • Comfortable working to targets in a fast-paced environment
  • Resilient, organised, and commercially curious
  • A team player with a positive attitude
  • Willing to travel occasionally for events
