I am currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Retailer for an Assistant/Junior Brand Manager for a 12-month contract
The organisation is located in Nottingham- they offer hybrid working- they would like you to be onsite 3-5 days per week
The role is a backfill whilst one of the team is on maternity leave. You will be working on one the biggest skincare brands in the UK!
You will be a key part of their UK Marketing team. Accountable for ensuring that they deliver a best-in-class launch, their brand shows up at its best in market, creating seamless activation across retailers and the UK market both online and offline. Building strong social & content activation plans that are integrated with the wider brand plans.
There is a big product launch coming out soon in the UK, this role is to support the delivery of the activation marketing plan. The plan is already in place at the moment, this role is to oversee HOW to deliver the launch plan- there are multiple parts- CRM/digital/paid media/social media content as well as coordinating with stores/suppliers etc.
Key responsibilities:
• Brand, social and content lead in the UK market
• Support in the development of local market annual plans and organic social plans, including campaign planning, retailer execution, always on marketing and brand support to deliver brand and customer targets.
• Set the social strategy for the brand across a multi-platform approach – growing current platforms and launching new platforms that are right for our brand and customers
• Lead the local production of content requirements for the UK market always seeking out new formats, trends and production to enhance our content delivery
• Localise global creative and content to allow for market relevant creative and messaging
• Identify and deliver local market insights to inform all plans, develop and continuously learn
• Work with our local media agencies to deliver new product launches, brand campaigns and always on strategy
• Support in working within our matrix organisation to deliver fully aligned and powerful activation plans building great relationships internally and externally
• Work with our retail partners to integrate all campaigns and brand priorities to show up seamlessly across the market.
• Partners with PR to support integration of local influencer and activity across assigned brand projects
• Working in partnership with our customer centre to ensure all feedback is heard, actioned and responded too in accordance to the brand guidelines
• Local measurement and evaluation of all activity across paid media, loyalty and organic social.

What you’ll need to have:
• Proven experience within retail and brand marketing.
• A strong passion for social and content management including Lo-fi content production and working with content creators
• Experience in brand and product launches using the full marketing mix including paid, owned, earned
• Experience of content production and scheduling across digital and social channels
• Commercial Acumen, to ensure an understanding of retail partners’ businesses
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a highly matrixed organization
• Excellent relationship management across network of brands and stakeholders (internal and external), and agency partners
• Tenacious and resilient
• Proven ability to develop thorough understanding of customer and consumer behaviour and trends
• Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders
