We’re looking for an experienced and caring Mental Health Support Worker to join our dedicated team at Lindsay House – a CQC Registered home supporting individuals with severe and enduring mental health challenges.
Lindsay House is a 17 bed supported living service registered under CQC. We provide more than just accommodation – we offer support with daily living skills, personal care, finances, and rehabilitation, while encouraging engagement with the local community.
What you will do:
- Providing one‑to‑one key‑worker support and building positive, professional relationships
- Carrying out assessments and developing personalised support and safety plans
- Encouraging people to manage their mental and physical wellbeing
- Supporting individuals with daily living skills and accessing community services
- Liaising with mental health agencies, professionals and community groups
- Contributing to safeguarding and promoting a safe, supportive environment
- Keeping accurate records, monitoring progress and sharing information with the team
- Helping improve the service by offering feedback and supporting colleagues
What we’re looking for:
- Experience supporting people with mental illness or in a social care setting (paid or voluntary)
- Great listening skills, empathy, patience, and kindness
- Ability to work with digital systems (Microsoft applications, email, internet)
