We are looking for an experienced and passionate Mental Health Support Worker to work as part of our team at our Shipley Lodge Service, in Heanor Derbyshire.

Our Shipley Lodge Service is a CQC registered nursing service, supporting individuals on their recovery journey. We support people in achieving personal recovery goals by fostering personal responsibility and self-confidence to access mainstream resources and lead socially inclusive lives.
Role Overview:
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will offer support to people affected by mental illness, helping them regain confidence and participate in social and workplace activities. You will work closely with service users to help them achieve their personal goals and access the support they need for recovery.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Experience in supporting individuals with mental illness, or in providing care/support services within a social care setting, paid or voluntary.
- Transferable life/work experience applicable to this role.
- Excellent listening and empathetic skills; patient, understanding, kind, and eager to learn.
