The predicted salary is between 22400 - 28800 £ per year.
We are currently hiring a Living Well Senior Wellbeing Coach to join our inspiring and friendly team at our Derbyshire Living Well Service. Rethink Mental Illness is an organisation whose common purpose is to help those who are severely impacted by mental illness.
The service is Derbyshire Recovery & Peer support, which has a team that provides recovery services to people in the community and supports them in long term recovery through Peer activity. An extension of this is the living well service that you will be based, which is in collaboration with partner organisations and the NHS Trust underpinning this is Peer support development and training.
Your role will include:
- Providing support to the Service Manager
- Supporting with the line management of the Rethink Wellbeing Coaches and Peer Support Workers assigned to the DLW project, including task assignment, case load management, professional development and staff supervision.
- Developing and maintaining strong links between partner organisations within the Derbyshire Living Well team
- Representing the VCSE at the Derbyshire Living Well Multi Disciplinary team meeting and other team meetings as required
- Supporting the development of the Peer Coach role to ensure the voice of lived experience is at the heart of the team
- Providing support with service audits, IPL reports, and paperwork compliance for Living Well
Essential Skills And Experience Required For This Role:
- Experience working with individuals with multifaceted mental health needs and complexity, including serious mental illness.
- Genuinely cares about making a difference and is motivated to improve mental health outcomes for people and their communities.
- Willingness to attend training and personal development.
- Health & social care qualification or willingness to work towards one.
- Experience managing caseloads of individuals with complex disadvantage.
- A working knowledge and understanding of mental health and the ability to recognise the indicators of deteriorating mental health.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritise work tasks and develop effective work streams.
- Sound knowledge of information governance and the management of risks.
