A specialist engineering consultancy in the Cambridge area is growing its team and wants an FPGA Engineer with a few years’ experience.
The role
- Design and verify FPGA firmware for high-performance signal processing in radar, EW and RF systems.
- Implement DSP functions on FPGA and help integrate them with RF hardware and software.
- Get involved across the full lifecycle, from requirements and design through to lab bring-up and test.
What you’ll bring
- A good degree in electronic engineering or similar, and some industry experience. This isn’t a graduate role.
- Hands‑on VHDL or Verilog, ideally on AMD/Xilinx devices.
- An interest in DSP. MATLAB experience is helpful.
- Eligibility for UK SC/UKEO clearance.
- Defence, radar or consultancy experience is a bonus.
