Warehouse Stock Controller Tamworth, Staffordshire £25,000 – £26,000 per annum Permanent position Job Description: A global engineering business are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Stock Controller to join their busy team in a permanent position. The successful candidate will perform a key role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring effective stock management. Warehouse Stock Controller responsibilities: * Booking in Goods: Responsible for the accurate systematic booking in and recording of incoming goods using SAP computer system * Forklift Counterbalance Operation: Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck efficiently moving and organising products within the Stores department * Stock Control: Monitoring and managing stock levels, ensuring that all inventory is readily available and accurately accounted for as required * Inventory Checks: Conducting regular inventory checks and audits to ensure the accuracy and accountability of stock levels Experience required: * Previous experience of working in a stores or warehouse environment within a manufacturing / production environment is preferred * Familiarity with SAP or a similar stock control system is advantageous * A valid (or recently expired) Counterbalance Forklift licence along with the experience of operating a Forklift confidently and safely is required * Full UK Driving Licence is preferred * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team * Excellent communication skills are requested Additional details: * Salary up to £26,000 per annum (depending on experience) * Opportunities for career advancement and professional development * Free parking is available on site * Working in a clean and modern purpose-built facility If you possess a proactive approach to your work, motivation to carry out an effective role within a friendly and supportive team environment then please apply with your up to date CV
