Cnc Machinist in Tamworth

CNC Machinist £45,000 per annum + (Depending on experience) Tamworth, Staffordshire Permanent position | Day Shift RETAIND are recruiting for an experienced CNC Machinist to join an established company, manufacturing of mechanical equipment used within the construction sector. Working in a clean, modern facility, you will programme, set and operate a Hurco milling machining centre and lathe, producing one-off and prototype components. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys precision machining and taking a component from drawing through to finished part. The role: * Programme, set and operate CNC milling and turning machinery. * Produce one-off and prototype parts to engineering drawings and specifications. * Select suitable tooling and machining methods for each job. * Inspect finished components to ensure accuracy and quality. * Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area. About you: * Experience programming, setting and operating CNC machinery. * A background in milling and turning, ideally with Hurco machine experience. * Confident reading engineering drawings and working to specified tolerances. * Experience producing one-off, prototype or small-batch components. * A practical approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently. Working hours: Monday–Thursday: 8.30am–4.30pm Friday: 8.30am–2.30pm This is a permanent position offering regular daytime hours and an earlier finish on Fridays.
