We are recruiting a permanent, PAYE Commercial Maintenance Plumber to join a well-established Facilities Management company based in Coventry. This role would not suit CIS, JIB, self-employed, or contract plumbers. It is a long-term, permanently employed position working across commercial and public-sector sites including schools, hospitals, offices, retail, and industrial units.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Attending commercial sites including schools, hospitals, offices, and industrial units
  • Reactive and planned plumbing maintenance
  • Repairs, servicing, fault finding, and minor installation / fit-out works
  • Working on hot & cold water systems, heating pipework, and associated services
  • Updating job details using a tablet or laptop
  • Communicating clearly with customers and the office regarding progress or issues
  • Ensuring work is completed safely, compliantly, and within agreed timescales

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing (minimum) or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a plumber in commercial or facilities environments
  • Strong knowledge of hot and cold water systems and heating
  • Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
  • Good communication and customer-facing skills
  • Full UK driving licence (minor points accepted)
  • CSCS Card (beneficial but not essential)

Additional Information:

  • 40 hours per week (Mon–Fri, 8:00am–4:30pm, 30 min lunch)
  • Company van / van share provided (business use only)
  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays
  • DBS check required (company supported)
  • Opportunity to progress into Commercial Gas training & qualifications in the future
