The Opportunity
This role offers the chance to work within a busy, high-output manufacturing environment, maintaining and improving a variety of industrial systems and equipment.
Key duties include:
- Carrying out both planned maintenance and reactive repairs using a CMMS system
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults across components such as pumps, gearboxes, bearings, and fluid power systems
- Assisting with installation, upgrades, and relocation of machinery
- Contributing to reliability improvements and efficiency initiatives
- Maintaining high standards of safety and operational performance across the plant
Candidate Profile
To be considered, you should have:
- A recognised Level 3 qualification in an engineering discipline (e.g. NVQ or apprenticeship)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, process, or heavy industrial setting
- Strong hands-on mechanical skills, particularly with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Confidence interpreting engineering drawings and technical information
- A proactive, team-oriented approach to maintenance and problem-solving
- Familiarity with industrial production equipment and automated systems
