A leading industrial / roller shutter door manufacturer and installer based in Birmingham, West Midlands is currently looking for experienced Engineers to join their Service and Installation Team on a permanent basis. With a reputation for quality and timely delivery and utilising a strong and loyal customer base, the Company has been experiencing rapid and sustained growth.
Industrial / Roller Shutter Door Engineer duties include:
- Travelling to customer sites throughout the Midlands using a company van
- Carrying out repair work, servicing and maintenance to all types of industrial doors including roller shutters, sectional, high-speed and sliding folding doors
- Other products can also include barriers, grilles and gates
- You will work alone as part of a wider team, and alongside an Assistant to help you on larger or more complex jobs

Experience and competencies required:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the Industrial Door sector is essential
- A CSCS Card would be an advantage but relevant training can be offered
- Ability to accurately measure and utilise tools and specialist equipment is required
- A full manual Driving Licence (ideally clean or minor points) is essential
- Excellent customer service skills
- Positive communication abilities both verbally and in writing are required
- The ability to utilise IT equipment such as a tablet and smartphone will be advantageous
- A flexible, positive attitude to work and your role is requested
