Tax Accountant Private Client Portfolio Location: Central BirminghamSalary: £40,000 per annum, depending on experienceJob Type: Permanent, Full-timeAn established accountancy practice in Birmingham is looking to appoint an experienced Tax Accountant Private Clients to support a varied portfolio of individuals, company directors, business owners and clients with more complex tax affairs.This is a strong opportunity for a capable tax professional who is ready to take ownership of client work, provide technical guidance and support the continued development of a busy tax function within a professional practice environment.The Role: As Tax Accountant Private Clients, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients requiring support across tax compliance, planning and advisory matters.Managing a varied portfolio of private clients, directors, business owners and individuals with more complex tax requirements.Preparing, reviewing and overseeing tax returns and associated compliance work.Providing advice on areas such as Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, residency and wider UK tax matters.Building and maintaining strong client relationships.Identifying planning opportunities and providing practical, commercially aware advice.Supporting the continued development of the firms tax service offering.Strong tax experience gained within an accountancy practice.Experience working with private clients, directors, business owners or owner-managed business clients.A good technical understanding of UK tax legislation.Confidence handling client queries and advising on varied tax matters.Experience preparing and/or reviewing tax compliance work.Qualifications and Experience: ACA, ACCA, ATT or CTA qualification would be advantageous.Previous tax experience within accountancy practice is essential.Benefits: Salary of up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.Permanent, full-time position working Monday to FridayHigh-quality, modern working environmentOpportunity to manage a varied and interesting client portfolio.Long-term career development within an established chartered accountancy practice.How to Apply: If you are an experienced tax professional looking for a permanent Senior Tax Accountant role in Birmingham, please apply today.
