We are looking for a healthcare assistant for one of our complex care packages in Melksham. There are a variety of shift times and lengths available.
About the Role
We are looking for a kind-hearted and hardworking individual to support a young adult (female) with a neurological disorder. The client is wheelchair-bound but has a ceiling track hoist within the home.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supporting the customer with their personal care needs.
- Supporting with PEG care.
- Use of moving and assisting equipment such as ceiling track hoists, electric wheelchairs, through-floor lifts, etc.
- Taking the client out for walks and hot chocolate.
- Encouraging creative play and enjoying games, music, and television.
Requirements:
- 1 year complex care experience necessary.
- PEG feeding and Oxygen experience.
- Must hold a FULL UK driving license.
- Creativity and a caring attitude.
