Supported Living

Location: Swindon, Wiltshire

Salary: £12.60 to £14.50 per hour (reflecting the higher client needs and enhanced weekend rate)

12 hour shifts, days and nights, full time or part time, flexible contract, 2:1

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing personalised support to individuals, ensuring their well-being and safety.
  • Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Supporting individuals in developing and maintaining social relationships and participating in community activities.
  • Promoting independence and self-advocacy skills.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of support provided via Digital Care Planning.
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals involved in the individual's care, such as family members, healthcare providers, and social workers.
Skills And Qualifications
  • At least 6 months of experience in supported living environments.
  • Skilled in managing challenging behaviours with empathy and professionalism.
  • Ability to provide tailored support to individuals with diverse disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle essential.
  • PMVA qualification or experience in caregiving or social work are desirable but not essential as all training will be given.
