At Retain Healthcare, we’re on a mission to support people to live longer, healthier and more independent lives at home. We’re recruiting full‑time and part‑time Community Healthcare Assistants to support our clients at home. Work is available in Bath, Radstock, Trowbridge and surrounding areas.

Pay rates from £13.65 to £14.65 per hour, up to £18.50 per hour on bank holidays. Typical earnings: £530 to £725 per week, depending on hours.

Flexible Work That Fits Around You

We offer a flexible approach to shifts, including:

  • Mornings 7:00 am – 2:00 pm
  • Evenings 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm
  • Nights 10:00 pm – 7:00 am
  • Every other weekend availability (with a focus on work‑life balance)

Full‑time and part‑time roles available.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support people in their own homes—helping them stay safe, independent and connected.
  • Assist with personal care (washing, dressing, continence support)
  • Meal preparation and medication support
  • Encourage independence through an outcome‑focused approach
  • Companionship—making someone’s day brighter
  • Perform light household tasks
  • Work alongside families, social workers, nurses and other professionals
  • Report changes and maintain care records
