What we’re looking for:
- Previousexperience hosting in a restaurant or bar, using a booking platform such as Design My Night, Sevenrooms or OpenTable.
- A true team player with a positive, proactive attitude
- A friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine love for hospitality
- Ability to stay calm, organised, and positive during busy services
- Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to support the wider venue
- Excellent communication and guest interaction skills
- Attention to detail and pride in delivering great service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak event times
We Expect You To:
- Welcoming guests warmly and creating a positive first impression from the moment they arrive
- Managing reservations and walk-ins, ensuring smooth table flow throughout service
- Providing friendly, attentive service and responding promptly to guests’ needs
- Offering knowledgeable recommendations on wines, drinks, and menu items
- Supporting the team to deliver a seamless dining experience during busy service periods
- Coordinating with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely and accurate orders
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and inviting front-of-house environment
- Handling guest enquiries, feedback, and special requests with professionalism
- Processing payments accurately and efficiently
- Assisting with opening and closing duties, including setting up and resetting service areas
- Upholding health, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards
- Contributing to a positive team culture and helping create memorable guest experiences
- Supporting the wider team to keep the service running smoothly
- Bringing positive energy, professionalism, and pride to every shift
