Sitting at the heart of the Argos business, Trade Planning connects the moving parts that help turn strategy into action. As a Trade Planning Assistant, you'll work across Commercial, Digital, Marketing, Retail and Supply Chain, helping to coordinate priorities, identify opportunities and ensure we execute brilliantly for customers. From supporting weekly trade priorities and analysing competitor activity to coordinating business-wide planning, you'll help ensure we're focused on the right opportunities and responding quickly to an ever-changing retail landscape. What you'll do

  • Support the delivery of the weekly trade plan, helping to coordinate priorities, manage critical paths and ensure the business is aligned behind what matters most.
  • Lead our Competitor Analysis Hub activity, capturing market insight, identifying opportunities and highlighting emerging trends that can influence both short and long-term plans.
  • Support the operational delivery of the Business Priority List (BPL), ensuring updates, submissions and actions are communicated clearly and delivered on time.
  • Work closely with Marketing and a wide range of cross-functional teams to ensure plans are executed seamlessly and our priorities are translated into action.
  • Review performance, identify risks and opportunities, and help recommend actions that improve execution, customer outcomes and commercial performance.
  • Look for ways to improve processes, simplify ways of working and support continuous improvement across Trade Planning activity.
