Zipline is a well-funded and quickly growing SaaS company that works with many of the world’s top retailers across many industries. We have best-in-class NPS and CSAT scores, and our customers rave about us. Plus, we are a fully remote company with employees all over Canada, the United States and beyond! We’re looking for our first dedicated marketer in Europe—someone ready to build our regional presence from the ground up. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will lead everything from campaign launches and events to content creation, vendor management, and performance tracking.

While you’ll be our first boots on the ground in Europe, you won’t be building alone. You’ll have support from a global team across design, product marketing, and digital demand generation to help execute and scale your strategy. You’ll also work closely with sales and cross-functional marketing partners to shape our voice and deliver localized, relevant experiences across key European markets. If you’re a resourceful, full-stack marketer who thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment and loves owning projects end-to-end, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prioritize and execute Zipline's marketing programs across Europe, aligning with regional priorities and global strategies.
  • Lead regional event marketing programs while collaborating with our global events team, including planning and attending conferences, trade shows, and executive dinners, to support pipeline generation and sales goals.
  • Build and run European partner marketing initiatives, content marketing, and social media campaigns.
  • Develop regional demand generation strategies to drive awareness, engagement, and qualified pipeline.
  • Grow lead generation through SEO, content syndication, email marketing, paid programs, and partner activities.
  • Collaborate with sales and business development teams to align processes, messaging, and lead follow-up strategies.
  • Own end-to-end execution: strategy development, hands-on execution, reporting, and optimization.
  • Content localisation and creation capabilities, ensuring all messaging—from case studies, social posts to landing pages—is tailored to regional language nuances, cultural tone, and industry priorities.
  • Conduct customer and prospect interviews to uncover insights and translate them into impactful narratives.
  • Analyze and report on marketing program performance and recommend adjustments to optimize impact.
  • Support global marketing initiatives by contributing ~30% of your time to cross-regional programs.
  • Build a deep understanding of the market, trends, our prospects, customers, product, competitors, and the buyer’s journey in Europe.
  • Collaborate with Zipline’s Global Marketing team and wider subject matter experts for support.
  • Contribute to the scaling of a growth-stage SaaS company into a leading industry powerhouse.
  • Partner with leadership on the evolution of the European team as regional success builds.

A Little About You:

  • 8+ years of marketing experience, including significant ownership of regional marketing programs.
  • Proven success driving pipeline generation in a specific region within a larger B2B SaaS organization.
  • Experience building marketing and demand generation programs in a new market.
  • Strong understanding of the local retail landscape, including major players, peak trading periods, verbiage, cultural nuances, and decision-making dynamics.
  • Partner ecosystem knowledge, with the ability to activate and co-market with key tech partners.
  • Hands-on experience with event and field marketing planning and execution.
  • Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) approaches and campaigns.
  • Expertise in content marketing, copywriting, and storytelling.
  • Proficiency in social media marketing and partner marketing.
  • Strong background in marketing analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
  • History of close collaboration with Sales and SDR/BDR teams.
  • Deep understanding of frontline and retail operations challenges.
  • A self-starter mentality, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to turn ambiguity into scalable, effective marketing programs.

This role will involve occasional travel within Europe (approx. 7–8 trips per year) for trade shows, customer events, and team off-sites.

More about you (bonus skills):

  • Previous experience scaling marketing efforts at an international b2b SaaS company.
  • HubSpot and Salesforce experience.
  • Paid ads and digital marketing management.
  • Budget management and optimization.
  • SEO, landing page development, and conversion rate optimization skills.
  • Multilingual proficiency (especially major European languages).
  • Familiarity with European data privacy regulations (GDPR) and compliance best practices.
