Moores House, Salford

We are looking for a committed individual to join our Moores House team at our Salford retirement Estate. You will support the Estate and Facilities and Compliance Manager, ensuring a high standard of maintenance is delivered to internal and external areas of the estate, ensuring a safe environment for our residents and staff.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Undertaking maintenance tasks, utilising your trade skills when required.
  • Being aware of and reporting any matters relating to the condition of the estate property, materials and tools/equipment that may require attention.
  • Undertaking repairs, painting, decorating and moving and handling when required.
  • Ensuring communal gardens are maintained and well presented, pruning, grass cutting, clearing debris etc.
  • Assisting in the inventory and maintenance of equipment, ensuring stock is replenished in a timely manner.
  • Assisting in the cleaning of walls, ceilings, extractor hoods as well as the movement of furniture and equipment.
  • Assisting in the inventory of equipment and ensuring ongoing maintenance and safe storage of equipment.
  • Assisting the charity in implementing quality assurance initiatives to continually improve maintenance standards.
