Position: Permanent, 21 hours per week, rota schedule
Location: Mill Hill, London
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our established supported living team based at our Marshall Hall estate, Mill Hill. If you are an empathetic and solutions-focused individual, we want to hear from you!
Your day will be spent working in a busy office as part of the Supported Living team providing intensive housing management services for all residents, enabling residents to achieve maximum independence and general wellbeing. During your day you will undertake responsive visits to residents, undertaking assessments to support their health, safety, and welfare needs. You will work closely with the team and estate manager to resolve issues, adopting solution-focused and person-centred approaches to problem solving. There will also be the opportunity to support with planning and delivering resident social events which we hold on the estate.
Requirements: We are looking for an individual with experience in supporting the elderly, someone with a calm and compassionate nature, possessing a firm but fair approach where needed. You will be working as part of a small team but must also be happy working on your own initiative. We ask that you are flexible as this role works on a rota basis predominantly 9-5 Monday to Sunday and as part of an on-call schedule and will be required at times to respond to emergency calls.
