Love Retail / Interiors & Design? We are a rapidly expanding, independent furniture retailer who requires highly motivated and enthusiastic full time staff for our Westfield store. Sales experience in a retail environment is desirable but not essential. You must have a bright and bubbly disposition, be able to work in a busy retail environment and be confident in learning in house sale / customer service computer programs. Raft offers a versatile range of elegant home furnishings to suit every room, combining style with environmental responsibility. Our transparent processes and commitment to quality are supported by a passionate and collaborative team of furniture enthusiasts.
What you will do:
- The role involves assisting customers with product selection, providing detailed knowledge of our end-to-end process (extensive sales training provided), and creating an exceptional in-store shopping experience and atmosphere among colleagues.
- Responsibilities include showcasing products, handling customer inquiries, meeting sales targets, operating the webchat and keeping the showroom up to the standards set out by our Visual Merchandiser.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with clients effectively and provide personalised solutions.
- Experience in retail sales with a broad range of clients.
- Knowledge or interest in furniture design and manufacturing.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment – a people person!
- Passion for sustainable practices and high-quality craftsmanship.
- Prior experience in a furniture or luxury home goods retail setting is a plus, but not essential.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a fast‑paced retail environment.
