Apprentices receive on-the-job training, uniform, and a structured, supportive learning environment.

The McDonald’s Fast-Paced Hospitality Apprentice (Level 2) is a 15-month program combining on-the-job training with structured learning to earn a Food and Beverage Team Member qualification . Apprentices work 30 hours a week (including weekends) in a high-energy role, delivering customer service, preparing food, and maintaining hygiene standards while receiving support from a mentor and manager.

Key Aspects of the Apprenticeship:

• Role & Training: You will work as a Crew Member, learning all aspects of restaurant operations—from food prep to customer service—while completing a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Food and Beverage.
• Structure: 20% of the training is off-the-job, facilitated by a dedicated assessor with 121 visits every 4-6 weeks.
• Qualifications & Support: You will gain a recognised qualification, with mentorship to support your development and prepare you for the End Point Assessment.
• Requirements: Requires excellent communication skills, high energy, a team-focused attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Progression: This role provides a foundation for careers in hospitality, with potential to move into Team Leader or Management roles.

Typical Duties:

• Customer Service: Greeting customers, taking orders, and managing payments, ensuring a positive experience.
• Food Preparation: Efficiently preparing food to strict, high-quality standards.
• Maintenance & Cleanliness: Ensuring the restaurant is clean, safe, and hygienic.
• Stock Rotation: Managing and rotating stock, and minimising waste.
• Teamwork: Supporting colleagues, following procedures, and attending briefings
