Heavily subsidised car Renault Swansea seeks a Vehicle Smart Repairer to join our dealership’s workshop. Our Smart Repairer role involves carrying out cosmetic repairs on motor vehicles to the highest standards whilst maintaining skilful and accurate first-time fixes, within set smart repair times and to the customers’ complete satisfaction. Common services include small- and medium-sized scratch, chip and scuff repair, and paintless dent removal. You will also identify additional faults to recommend for further repair according to dealership and manufacturer factory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out cosmetic repairs on motor vehicles to high standards.
  • Perform first-time fixes within set smart repair times and aim for customer satisfaction.
  • Provide common services such as scratch, chip, scuff repair and paintless dent removal.
  • Identify additional faults and recommend further repair according to dealership and manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bodyshop or smart repair qualification.
  • Own hand tools and protective footwear.
  • Full UK Driver’s license.
  • Paint booth heat lamps, paint stock, consumables and PPE provided by the dealership.

Hours

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm with 30-minute lunch break. 40 hours per week.

  • Basic salary £32,450 per annum plus consistent monthly bonuses between £500 and £850 per month.
  • OTE circa £43,800 per annum.
