Renault Cardiff is seeking a Trade Parts Sales Representative to join our established Trade Parts Hub in Cardiff on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. This is a field‑based, client‑ and business customer‑facing role focused on B2B sales of branded automotive parts, accessories and consumables from our core brands Renault, Dacia and Alpine. The territory covers Cardiff’s CF postcodes and neighbouring NP, SA and HR areas, working with existing trade customers and cultivating new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with a broad customer base; manage accounts with care and identify opportunities to grow sales and profitability.
- Visit customer premises and welcome clients to the Trade Parts Hub in Cardiff; represent the business at trade events or exhibitions.
- Occasionally perform parts deliveries when covering parts driver colleagues; adjust routes and timing to align with diarised client visits.
- Build trust by understanding customer needs and delivering a consistently positive experience.
- Collaborate with colleagues as needed; balance a customer‑focussed approach with independent workload management in a busy, target‑driven environment.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working with people; able to organise workload effectively in a busy, target‑driven environment.

- Experience in B2B sales, field sales, account management or automotive parts is advantageous but not required; transferable skills and the right mindset are welcomed.
Working Hours & Compensation
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with a one‑hour lunch break (40 hours per week). Salary: basic salary £28,000 per annum, with a monthly bonus scheme enabling on‑target earnings of £35,000 per annum or more. The role includes a company car from day one, followed by a tax‑efficient company car after one month’s service, business mileage, and the provision of a mobile phone and laptop.

- 12‑month fixed‑term contract; a successful contribution during this period may lead to a contract extension or a permanent opportunity, subject to business requirements.
