About the role
Due to an increase in workloads, we are now looking for an EPoS installation engineer. Our offices are based in Essendine, Rutland UK and you will need to be within commuting distance of these offices as you will be required to pick up equipment for your installations.
Responsibilities
- Report in to the Installation Manager weekly for schedule.
- Drive to UK sites to install Epos systems, which may entail overnight stays.
- Become proficient in the ShopMate software in order to train the customers in its functionality.
- Deal with customers' requests via the telephone.
- Visit sites for engineer engagements/breakdowns.
- Willingness to provide demonstrations of the Epos system at occasional trade events.
Qualifications
- You have a full clean driving licence.
- You have previous experience of working as part of a team.
- You have basic DIY skills, drilling holes, using a jigsaw.
- You are able to run network cables, often through suspended ceilings.
- You have knowledge of cable management.
- You have knowledge of basic network fault finding.
- You have demonstrable organisational skills, including time management, prioritisation of tasks and self-motivation.
- You have a strong work ethic, require high standards of self-motivation, able to be flexible in order to get the job done, able to work under pressure when deadlines approach.
- You are a confident and clear communicator.
- You have an excellent professional manner at all times.
- You are hardworking and committed, with a sense of humour.
