The role of Retail Stock Counter involves using a handheld scanner to count stock accurately across various retail customer sites and stores. Travel to different sites may be required on a shift‑by‑shift basis, with minibus transport provided at certain locations.
Responsibilities
- Use handheld scanner to count stock accurately and efficiently.
- Stand for prolonged periods of time while performing counting tasks.
- Access stock in high or hard‑to‑reach areas using appropriate equipment.
- Travel to assigned retail sites and adapt to varied shift schedules.
- Maintain accurate records and report any discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Can do attitude and ability to work long shifts.
- Quick learner able to adapt to changing technology.
- Willingness to work unsociable hours, including early mornings and nights.
- Prior experience handling stock is an advantage but not required.

- Salary: £14.29 per hour inclusive of holiday pay (£12.75 per hour + £1.54 holiday pay).
- Stream benefit allowing access to up to 50% of wages before payday.
