Based in our London office, just a 4‑minute walk from Victoria Station, the role involves running end‑to‑end execution of 10 private‑equity conferences a year across Europe, including venues, suppliers, on‑site teams, and the attendee experience.

Retail Insights is part of United Media, a leader in large‑scale industry media and conference products.

Responsibilities
  • Supplier research and management: source, compare, and secure the best suppliers for event needs; negotiate contracts and maintain relationships; review and manage budgets.
  • Event planning: schedule and coordinate sponsored VIP events, lunches, dinners, and after‑hours activities; coordinate with venue staff; provide on‑site support.
  • Internal team support: capture and streamline internal queries; track inventory; quality‑check design elements such as banners, signage, brochures.
  • Volunteer coordination: hire, train, and manage a 40‑person volunteer team for events.
Qualifications
  • Strong drive, work ethic, and sense of urgency.
  • Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • Highly organised, able to structure and prioritise work.
  • Curiosity about people and building relationships.
  • Experience or desire to manage high‑volume events or similar operational roles.
