We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR and Payroll Advisor to lead the people and culture function at Billesley Manor Hotel and Spa. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting operational managers, driving employee engagement, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture aligned with our brand values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on all HR matters
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
  • Lead employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management
  • Support with payroll processing and compliance
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies
  • Maintain accurate HR records and reporting
  • Support learning and development initiatives across the hotel
  • Oversee payroll processes in liaison with finance
  • Drive employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives, and retention strategies
About You
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within hospitality
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law
  • Confident managing employee relations cases independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Discreet and professional with the ability to handle confidential information
