We’re looking for a hands-on Management Accountant to join our growing Finance team. This is a practical, sleeves-rolled-up role for someone who enjoys owning the numbers end-to-end and working across international entities. You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate management accounts, supporting payroll and tax compliance across EU, Australia and the US, and keeping the finance engine running smoothly as the business continues to scale.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning the preparation of monthly management accounts across multiple international entities
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and journals
- Supporting EU, Australian and US payroll processes (working with external providers where needed)
- Ensuring compliance with local tax requirements (VAT, GST, sales tax, payroll taxes, etc.)
- Assisting with statutory accounts, audits and year-end processes
- Supporting cashflow management and multi-currency transactions
- Continuously improving finance processes, controls and documentation
- Acting as a trusted finance partner to stakeholders outside of Finance
What we’re looking for:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA preferred)
- Strong experience in a hands-on management accounting role
- Solid working knowledge of EU, Australia and US tax and payroll requirements
- Experience working in a multi-entity, international environment
- Comfortable getting into the detail – this is not a “review-only” role
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems / ERPs
- Curious, proactive and happy operating in a fast-moving business
Bonus if you also have:
- Experience in SaaS, tech or data-led businesses
- Exposure to NetSuite or similar ERP systems
- Previous experience supporting a scaling or PE-backed business
Some of our extras:
- Flexible Working – Enjoy a hybrid work model (typically 2 days in the office) with flexibility based on business needs, plus a work from anywhere policy to give you freedom to explore.
- Time Off – 25 days annual leave (+ bank holidays), increasing with length of service, plus an extra day off for your birthday! We also operate summer hours so you can make the most of the sunshine.
- Learning & Development – Access a vast range of courses through our learning platform and benefit from structured career progression plans to support your growth.
- Health & Wellbeing – Private Medical Insurance, a healthcare cash plan, and mental health support via Help@Hand. Plus, we’ll ensure you have a safe and productive home setup with a workspace assessment.
- Giving Back – Take paid volunteer days to support your local community, donate to your chosen charity through salary sacrifice (we’ll match it!), and make a difference with Give as You Earn.
- Extra Perks – A car purchase scheme to make buying a new car easier, plus access to additional benefits through our online platform, including gym discounts.
