Availability Window: Days and times vary. Scheduled hours will be within the following windows; you will receive 3 weeks\' notice of your exact shifts. The roles support flexibility in times where advertised hours may not match exactly.
Weekly pay rate starts from £12.45 per hour and increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location. It is Tesco policy to offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week; roles may also be available with a minimum of 12 hours per week.
What you will be doing
- Help serve customers with passion and pride and provide natural service
- Be knowledgeable about products and services in the store
- Work across service, picking and replenishment areas as required
- Apply training to work safely, effectively, and to serve customers brilliantly
- Make decisions that are right for customers and deliver in-store routines that meet customer needs
- Participate in seasonal, community and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere
- Be aware of store performance and understand the role you play in driving service, sales, reducing waste and shrinkage, and delivering profit
- Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure delivery to customers in good condition
- Represent Tesco values, be welcoming, and follow policies
- Occasionally accept deliveries into the store
