Online Trading Assistant – Immediate Start

We are recruiting for an Online Trading Assistant to join a well-established fashion and lifestyle retailer on a temporary basis, supporting the e-commerce team during a busy trading period.

Candidates must be immediately available and not on a notice period to be considered.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent Excel knowledge and an interest in e-commerce, online merchandising or retail trading.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting the online trading team with daily administrative tasks and data entry.
• Preparing daily and weekly sales and performance reports.
• Using Excel to analyse data, identify trends and support trading decisions.
• Assisting with promotional activity, markdowns and product performance analysis.
• Monitoring slow-selling products and supporting online merchandising updates.
• Liaising with buying, marketing and other internal teams on trading activities.

About you:

• Strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Confident using Excel to input, manage and interpret data.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.

• Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in retail, merchandising or e-commerce would be advantageous.
• An interest in AI tools and their use in the workplace would be a bonus.
