Junior Garment Technologist – Temporary

Location: Central London
Salary: £29k-34k
We are recruiting for a Junior Garment Technologist to join a fashion business on an initial 8-week temporary basis, with potential for the role to continue longer term.
This is a great opportunity for a junior technologist with at least 1 year of industry experience who is confident supporting fit, testing and product development processes.
Responsibilities
- Support fit sessions and write clear, accurate fit comments
- Review samples and assist with garment fit and construction queries
- Read and interpret garment and fabric test reports
- Maintain technical records, sample information and product development documentation
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams on technical updates
- Support the wider Technical team with critical path and product development requirements
About you
- Minimum 1 year of garment technology experience
- Confident writing fit comments
- Experience reading and understanding test reports
- Good knowledge of garment construction and fit
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Available to start at short notice
