Availability window and scheduling details are listed below. The role offers a base rate of pay starting from £13.35 per hour, increasing to £14.56 inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location. New colleagues are offered a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with options to work a minimum of 12 hours if desired.
Availability
- Sun 09:00–19:00
- Thu 19:00–23:00
- Sat 09:00–21:00
We will schedule contracted hours within the advertised availability window and provide 3 weeks’ notice of exact shifts. Flexibility is supported if your available times closely match but do not exactly align with these windows.
Responsibilities
- Deliver your part of the customer shopping trip
- Ensure the van and trays are clean, tidy, and organised
- Leave the back yard clean and free of rubbish; pick up litter as needed
- Wash trays and perform tray wash processes
- Load the van and check roadworthiness
- Communicate any order changes to customers, including substitutions, offering refunds as needed
- Treat products/deliveries with care
- Explain substitutions to customers and confirm no extra charge
- Deliver within the customer’s time slot and call if arriving early
- Call the store/centre if running 30+ minutes late

- Respond quickly to changing customer needs and adapt to store changes
- Be energetic and driven to exceed expectations; balance home and work life
- Share ideas with your Manager and colleagues to improve the store
- Valid UK/EU/EEA Driving licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
