Chef de Partie at Evergreen, Bournemouth Airport.

Pay Rate: From 1st of April pay rate is £14.00 per hour + an extra £1.50 per hour for hours worked between 12am and 6am.

Shift Pattern: Full-Time, scheduled between 2am and 11pm including weekends.

Successful candidates will be required to provide references for the last 5 years and undergo a Criminal Record Check in line with Airport Security Regulations. Due to some responsibilities within the Chef de Partie role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts and will be required to handle and serve alcohol. Previous experience working in the kitchen is required.

AS A CHEF DE PARTIE YOU'LL:

  • Be part of a kitchen that is creative, nurturing and positive, promoting learning and a passion for food and produce.
  • Learn set recipes and ensure all menu items are made to specification, meeting our high standard of quality and presentation.
  • Communicate with the kitchen team, taking on board regular feedback.
  • Ensure that Health & Safety and Food Safety standards are adhered to and recommendations from Food Safety Audits are carried out.
  • Assist with all administration for the kitchen, ensuring that it is completed according to all deadlines, including food hygiene records, stocktakes, wastage sheets and cleaning records.
  • Support the Kitchen Manager in the recruitment, induction and onboarding of any new Kitchen Team Members.
  • Demonstrate your leadership with a hands-on approach and effective communication, engaging and motivating your team through pre-shift briefs.
  • Manage stock control and food margins.
  • Have an eye for detail and thrive in a high volume fast paced environment.
  • Ensure a fair approach when managing performance.
