This is a great opportunity for an assistant merchandiser to join a collaborative merchandising team and develop their career within a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.
Asassistant merchandiser, you'll support the merchandiser in managing stock, allocations and trading performance to maximise sales, margin and profit. You'll produce weekly trading and departmental analysis, monitor deliveries and supplier performance, support forecasting and WSSI management, oversee markdowns and promotions, and contribute to seasonal sales and buying plans. You'll work closely with buying, VM, channel merchandising and Web teams, with opportunities over time to take ownership of product areas from planning through to trading.
We're looking for someone withproven assistant merchandising experience within fashion retail, ideally with multi-product exposure, strong analytical and advanced Excel skills and a good understanding of stock management and commercial trading. You'll need to be confident spotting trends and opportunities, comfortable working to tight deadlines, a strong communicator and negotiator, and able to build effective relationships across the business. Experience supporting or developing junior team members would also be valuable.
The salary isup to £31,000, alongside 23 days' holiday with the option to purchase additional days, an annual bonus day off, pension, life assurance, hybrid working (three days in the office), an early Friday finish, up to 50% staff discount, interest‑free season ticket loans and additional discounts including Westfield and Tastecard.
