Location: This is a UK-based remote role, with quarterly travel required for committee meetings (generally held in London), alongside occasional team meetings and social events.

What you’ll be doing
This role sits at the heart of RECCo’s governance activity, providing essential support to multiple REC Committees and helping ensure they run smoothly, professionally and in line with agreed processes. It is a hands-on coordination role which requires structure, judgement and attention to detail, with responsibility for keeping meeting cycles on track, supporting high-quality outputs and helping committees work effectively across a busy governance timetable. You will work closely with committee Chairs, members and colleagues across the organisation, building strong working relationships and acting as a trusted point of coordination across a range of governance activities. Above all, this role helps create the structure and consistency that enables effective decision-making, good governance and a positive experience for committee members and stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end committee administration
- Use digital tools to support remote meetings and store and distribute meeting documents
- Act as the central point of contact for committee members and presenters
- Review committee papers to ensure formatting consistency
- Prepare clear and accurate meeting minutes, action logs and decision records, ensuring timely circulation and follow-up
- Track actions and decisions to support effective governance and accountability
- Maintain meeting schedules and governance calendars to support committee oversight and planning
- Support committee Chairs and senior stakeholders in the effective operation of governance forums
- Coordinate input from internal teams and external service providers to support smooth committee operations
About You
- Experience in a senior administrative role
- Proven experience preparing accurate meeting minutes and managing action tracking
- Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and coordinating across multiple teams
- Able to manage sensitive or confidential information
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
