Who are RECCo? We are an independent, non-profit organisation responsible for the Retail Energy Code — a key part of how the GB retail energy market is regulated. But we don’t just manage rules. We look ahead, not just react, helping the market change in the right way. We deliver secure digital services, clear governance, and practical solutions that protect consumers, support innovation, and help the energy system move towards net zero.

What you’ll be doing:

  • This role sits at the heart of RECCo’s governance activity, providing essential support to multiple REC Committees and helping ensure they run smoothly, professionally and in line with agreed processes.
  • It is a hands-on coordination role which requires structure, judgement and attention to detail, with responsibility for keeping meeting cycles on track, supporting high-quality outputs and helping committees work effectively across a busy governance timetable.
  • You will work closely with committee Chairs, members and colleagues across the organisation, building strong working relationships and acting as a trusted point of coordination across a range of governance activities.
  • Above all, this role helps create the structure and consistency that enables effective decision-making, good governance and a positive experience for committee members and stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end committee administration
  • Use digital tools to support remote meetings and store and distribute meeting documents
  • Act as the central point of contact for committee members and presenters
  • Review committee papers to ensure formatting consistency
  • Prepare clear and accurate meeting minutes, action logs and decision records, ensuring timely circulation and follow-up
  • Track actions and decisions to support effective governance and accountability
  • Maintain meeting schedules and governance calendars to support committee oversight and planning
  • Support committee Chairs and senior stakeholders in the effective operation of governance forums
  • Coordinate input from internal teams and external service providers to support smooth committee operations

About You:

  • Experience in a senior administrative role
  • Proven experience preparing accurate meeting minutes and managing action tracking
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and coordinating across multiple teams
  • Able to manage sensitive or confidential information
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools

What You’ll Get In Return:

  • We offer a great range of benefits and a collaborative culture in which you’ll have the opportunity to shape how we do things from the ground up during an exciting period of growth.
  • Employee benefits: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays and a holiday buy scheme
  • Private medical insurance and life cover
  • Employee Assistance Programme with access to an online portal containing a wealth of wellbeing resources, online self-help courses and shopping discounts
  • Company pension scheme with 7% employer contributions

  • 2 paid volunteering days per annum to get involved with a charity or community group of your choice and access to a payroll giving scheme if you’d like to make regular donations to charity
  • £45 well-being allowance every month
  • Access to lease an Electric Vehicle via a salary sacrifice scheme
  • Learning budget which you can use towards courses, books, webinars or conferences
  • Knowledge-sharing sessions, e-learning and an online hub of training resources to aid your professional development
