This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Retail Research Analyst / Economist, based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for remote work.
Key responsibilities:- Producing high-quality written reports
- Analysing consumer panel data, and producing insightful analysis and commentary
- In-depth market and economic research
- Delivering data-driven insights to clients
- Presenting key findings to clients
You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce social media posts, press releases, and client presentations. It is highly desirable that you have experience working with consumer panel data, analysing panel data and can formulate compelling storytelling through data. Use of AI is a core part of our processes. Advanced prompt engineering, coding, vibe coding, and automation are all highly desirable.
Qualifications:- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and propose actionable recommendations.
- Proficient in market research and research methodologies, with experience in gathering and analysing consumer and retail data.
- Knowledge of statistics and quantitative analysis, including familiarity with tools and techniques for data processing and visualisation.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex insights in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in the retail or consumer sector is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, as well as independently when needed.
